The private sector bank has also revised the charges for issuing cheque book. There are nil charges for 25 cheque leaves in a year but the bank will charge a courier fee of Rs 375 to deliver it to the customer’s home.
The bank has also revised charges for IMPS transactions. An IMPS transaction of up to Rs 1 lakh will have a charge of Rs 5 per transaction. For IMPS transactions of above Rs 1 lakh to up to Rs 5 lakh, the bank will levy a charge of Rs 15 per transaction.
Getting a duplicate statement of your ICICI NRI bank account will also attract charges. The bank will charge Rs 100 per statement if a duplicate statement is issued from the branch or customer care (Non-IVR). However, if a duplicate statement is received from customer care (IVR), ATM, and Net Banking, then the bank will levy a fee of Rs 50 per statement.
Depositing cash via a cash acceptor or recycler machine will also attract charges. The NRI customers have to pay Rs 50 per transaction if the cash deposited in a month exceeds Rs 10,000 either as a single transaction or multiple transactions on bank holidays and between 6.00 PM and 8:00 AM on working days. However, no charges will be applicable for incapacitated and visually impaired persons.
If an NRI customer forgets his/her internet banking user ID or password, then re-issuing the same from the branch or IVR customer care will attract a charge of Rs 50 per request.
Any deliverables that an NRI customer was required to pick up from a bank branch (say ATM card, cheque book, etc.), if not picked up within the stipulated time then destroying such items will also attract a charge of Rs 50.
