Despite a 6% increase in brand value (US$314 million), Taj Hotels’ ranking has dropped ten steps since 2021, and the hotel now ranks 48th on the list of the top 50 most valuable hotel brands.

The pandemic and subsequent national lockdowns hit Taj like other hotels worldwide, and Taj was able to successfully adjust strategies to remain relevant to the need of tourists. Taj was at the forefront of this with agility and strategic initiatives such as offering support to the healthcare sector.

Commenting on the achievement, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Indian Hotels Company, said;

“This recognition is a testimony to the unstinting support and affection of our guests, the unwavering commitment of our associates and the trust placed in us by our partners and stakeholders.”
