The United Arab Emirates is a popular tourist destination in the Middle East, with Dubai being the most popular destination.

However, prior to this recent change, the UAE maintained strict entry requirements and internal restrictions that kept many visitors away for the past two and a half years.

Travellers were required to comply with a slew of restrictions in order to enter the country. All of these rules, however, have been repealed as of November 7.

Previously, visitors to the UAE had to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test result obtained within 48 hours of arrival. However, travellers can now enter the country as they did before the Covid-19 pandemic. Aside from that, many other rules have been relaxed, providing major relief to travellers.
